Screen Wording

Each of these sections allow you to edit the MerchandiZer default text for the named page. 

Important notes:
1) HTML cannot be added to the buttons themselves, but the text on the buttons can be edited.

2) All links for the footers inside the secure server must be absolute and not relative links. For further information on these link types, see the page on HTML Linking to Product Groups and Catalog Items.

3) Images uploaded to the /Merchant directory will not appear on the Secure Server; use only HTML for text links, etc.


!Tip: 

Do not include navigation links to return to your home page, etc on the pages involved with the Customer's ordering process. Otherwise, they can click to go elsewhere in your website and might not resume completing their order.


Opening Page

Allows you to edit the default wording for the Navigation frame links in the default frameset: Opening Screen, Search for:, Home, You & Your Order, Check Basket, Questions?, Contact Form. 

This page also allows you to type in your own footer (incFooter) to appear at the bottom of your Product SubGroup and Catalog Item pages. This option is great for the navigation links on sites without frames, Copyright notices, banners, logos and any other information you want to appear inside your product pages.
You & Your Order

Allows you to edit the default fields and information that is displayed when the "You & Your Order" is clicked and for the page that appears when someone enters their email address in order to receive their password/account code. 

Also allows for an additional footer of information to be displayed. This option is great for the navigation links on sites without frames, Copyright notices, banners, logos and any other information you want to appear on this page.
Check Basket

Allows the default headers, text and buttons for this page to be edited. Also allows for an additional footer of information to be displayed. This option is great for the navigation links on sites without frames, Copyright notices, banners, logos and any other information you want to appear on this page.
FAQ

Allows for the entire text of the FAQ page to be edited according to your store's policies. 

Also allows for an additional heading/text for a question and answer to be added.
Contact Us

Allows for the text, fields and button for this form to be edited. Also allows for an additional footer of information to be added. This option is great for the navigation links on sites without frames, Copyright notices, banners, logos and any other information you want to appear inside your product pages.
New or Existing

Allows for the header, text, fields and buttons for this page to be edited. Also allows for an additional footer of information to be added. This option is great for the navigation links on sites without frames, Copyright notices, banners, logos and any other information you want to appear inside your product pages.
Customer Details

Allows for the header, text, fields and button for this page to be edited. Allows for three more fields to be prompted for by typing in the name of the field in one of the three blanks. Also allows for an additional footer of information to be added. This option is great for Copyright notices, and any other information you want to appear on this page.
Shipping

Allows for the header, text, fields and button for this page to be edited. Also allows for an additional footer of information to be added. This option is great for Copyright notices, and any other information you want to appear on this page including explanations of your shipping charges.
Payment

Allows for the header, text, fields and button for this page and on the Check by Mail & Credit Card by Fax/Mail pages to be edited. Also allows for an additional footer of information to be added. This option is great for Copyright notices, and any other information you want to appear on this page.
Order Confirmation

Allows for the header, text, fields and link text to be edited. The optional footer is great for the navigation links on sites without frames, Copyright notices, banners, logos and any other information you want to appear and is also great for some programs that require you put some code on the last page of the ordering process. 

Allows for the Confirmation Email text to be edited.

 
Pay By Mail/Fax

Allows for the text of the confirmation page for orders by mail or fax to be edited. This page is the one that customers should print when they are ordering from you by fax or through the postal mail.
